FFA Officer Candidate Application Requirements

1. Turn in completed application by Tuesday, April 20, 2018.
2. Distribute and check with all teachers that they have completed and returned their teacher recommendations to our boxes. Recommendation forms are due Monday, April 23, 2018. 
3. Have minimum 2-minute campaign speech ready to be recorded on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 which will be presented to all Ag classes on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
4. Take the Officer Test and attend an Interview with the committee Tuesday, April 24, 2018 after school in Ag Classroom.

No absentee voting. Elected officers will be announced at the Awards Banquet, Thursday, May 18, 2018.

1. All officers must compete on a LDE and CDE in 2018-2019.
2. All officers must have at least one SAE. (animal, plant, ag mech. etc.) 
3. A candidate that is assigned a maximum of two (2) ISS or one (1)AEP disciplinary actions will be removed from office immediately.
4. A candidate must not have excessive non-school related absences.
5. As an officer you will abide by the school and FFA dress code at all times.
6. As an officer you will participate in the FFA community service projects conducted by the chapter.
7. As an officer you will understand that FFA activities will not be planned around your personal schedule.
8. Any unexcused absence from a regular FFA meeting or event will result in instant removal from office.
9. An officer will be removed from office for failing to abide by these requirements.
