fan on amazon
Heat Lamp/ Red Bulb (for Fall Pigs)

A few things I do different from the video
Put feeder on gate, and water on the other end of the pen(promotes exercise)
Concrete is preferred with a good 4-6" thick layer of shavings. You will need to incorporate a 1x6 base board to the inside of your pen to keep the shaving in.
If you do not have access to a concrete floor I recommend using the thick rubber mats from tractor supply and building you pen the dimensions of those mats to get it close to a 6
x 10' pen as possible, I'd rather it be a littler bigger rather than a little smaller. 2 of the 4x6 mats from tractor supply will give you a 6x8 pen.  https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/4-ft-x-6-ft-x-3-4-in-thick-rubber-stall-mat?cm_vc=-10005

We recommend using pellet shavings/horse bedding
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/tractor-supply-pine-pellet-stall-bedding-40-lb
South East Texas Farm & Ranch in Raywood also carry a large bag of pine flake shavings.
(the pelleted bedding is easier to keep clean, more absorbent, and easier/cheaper to use when cleaned daily compared to flake shavings)
Here is a video demonstrating how to use the pelleted shavings(IMPORTANT TO WATCH)you can just fill the bags up using a water hose.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGrNbKavbfw

You will need to have a bag of feed secured/ in your possession the day we pick up the pigs
The first bag of feed you will need will be Moormans Burst Starter-Found at South East Texas Farm & Ranch in Raywood
We will feed 2 or 3 different feeds throughout the length of the project as the hog develops.
This is a link to the feed we will be feeding
